Pedro Pet Pals happily purchases much needed items for their harbor shelter grooming room – kennel dryers, stand up dryers, grooming tools and gallons of shampoos and conditioners. We are so grateful to the grooming team who make the dogs feel and look much better.
Danger in Rope Toys
Be very careful of the toys that you give your puppy or dog to play with. Bernese Angel (AKA Daisy), was just six-months old and tragically died earlier this month after ingesting rope, part of a dog toy. Vets operated on her to remove the rope from multiple organs but sadly, she passed away, devastating her family.
Dogs naturally chew and no toy is indestructible. It’s a good idea to supervise your pet’s play time with their toys – whether the toys are size-appropriate for the pet and their type of play, or labeled as “indestructible” – even a seemingly harmless one can be hazardous.

Help Save Our Pets In a Fire!
During fires, many pets can become victims of smoke or gas inhalation and will require oxygen. However, emergency response vehicles do not have oxygen kits that will fit them.
Our local fire departments will be able to save more of our four-legged loved ones if they have pet oxygen masks kits on board. The kits come with different sized masks to fit small, medium and large animals.
Please help us fund these needed kits and save beloved pets lives by making a donation HERE.

Papa Recovering After Surgery
Thank You Clint Patterson and Pedro Pet Pals!
Papa’s neuter surgery was about a month ago. He took a bit longer to recover, but has since recovered & is back to being his playful self. The surgery would not have been possible without your assistance, and we are forever grateful. I promise to pay it forward whenever opportunities within my means or abilities present themselves to do so.
