Want a pet, but not looking for a dog or cat? The Shelters have other animals available for adoptions, too, including lizards, turtles, chickens, many types of birds and rabbits.
This cutie is a spayed female, brown Shorthaired Rabbit.
The Harbor Animal Care and Control Center folks thinks she is just over a year old. She weights 3 pounds and has been at the shelter since October.
Please take me home!

I’m a 2 year old female domestic medium hair
I may be fully grown, but I still love to play like a kitten! I like to play with other active felines but I have a blast chasing Ping-Pong balls and mouse toys too. I also happen to be super sweet and affectionate, and I love everyone I meet!
Come see what a sweetie I am at the P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal
Village & Education Center. My ID# is 14-02319.
She was found on the streets and is now at the Harbor Shelter. She’s very athletic-looking and a lovely fawn color.
She was introduced to other dogs at the Harbor Shelter and was very polite — no hostility. She loves being brushed, touched and pet. She’s very affectionate and but not overly dependent.
You wouldn’t really think she was blind as she behaves quite normally. You just have to make sure you help her avoid walls and fences and things. She would do amazingly well in your home once she learned the layout, which she learns very fast!
She’s a real gem.
Please come down to the Harbor shelter and meet Blossom.
I’m adorable 😉
Before I go home, I will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. During my stay at spcaLA, I participated in the HEAL Program to help me with my basic manners and socialization.
