Take Your Best Shots – Best Pet Pals Calendar 2020

Please join Pedro Pet Pals in our mission to support homeless and other animals in need in our community. You can enter a picture of your adorable pet or pets with a donation on the GoGoPhotoContestweb page for a chance to be included in the Best Pet Pals 2020 Calendar!

Minimum donation to enter is $20.00 and you’ll receive a Best Pet Pals 2020 Calendar (Limited Edition) – either a dog or cat version as your gift for entering (there will be a DOG and CAT calendar in 2020). If your cat or dog photo receives the most votes, your animal will be featured on the cover and you will receive a professional photography session for your pet.

The contest starts Wednesday, October 16 at 9 am and ends Sunday, November 10 at 9 pm. Remember to have your friends and family vote for your pet to help them win and be included in the Pedro Pet Pals Best Pet Pals 2020 Limited Edition Calendar! Votes are $1.00 each and a $25.00 minimum donation will entitle the voter to a free calendar!

Halloween Bingo!

Another sold out bingo night was held by Pedro Pet Pals on October 17, 2019 at San Pedro Fish Market. It was an energy-filled evening with Halloween fun, silent auction, dinner, yummy pumpkin desert and, of course Bingo!

Clear The Shelters

The Clear the Shelters adoption event is this Saturday, August 17, 2019, at all 6 city shelters. Clear the Shelters is a pet adoption initiative to find forever homes for animals all over the United States. Join Pedro Pet Pals to help homeless pets!

Sirens Java & Tea Grand Re-Opening

There will be a free Earthquake Preparedness, Safety & Resource Information Day presented by Sirens Java and Tea at their Grand Re-opening on Saturday, August 10, 2019, 10 am to 2pm.

Sirens has partnered with Pedro Pet Pals and several other organizations and representatives in the Greater L.A. area to provide free earthquake preparedness and safety information, important to anyone living in Southern California. Come and see Sirens’ new location, get lots of valuable information and enjoy a delicious cup (or 2) of java!

Become a volunteer! Join Pedro Pet Pals at the Harbor Animal Shelter in San Pedro on Sunday, August 25, 2019 and train to be a volunteer for the Los Angeles Animal Shelter. Sign up today for this 1 day class!

Free Spay/Neuter Services for Cats During August!

Los Angeles Animal Services is offering free pet cat Spay/Neuter Certificates to all L.A. City residents from August 1 – August 31, 2019 (limit 3 per household) to encourage the community to get their cats spayed or neutered before they have unwanted litters.

This program is available for residents of the City of Los Angeles who are 18 years of age or older. Each household is eligible for Free Spay/Neuter Certificates for up to three cats. Surgeries are for companion cats only, stray animals are excluded. Once a Free Certificate is received, it must be redeemed at a participating veterinary hospital within 10 days of issuance.
